How do I download my files onto a PC?

  1. Click on the link in the left navigation box called "My Downloadable Products", which will take you to a list of products available for download. These instructions are duplicated on that page as well.
  2. Once there, click on one of the the blue links to download your new file. (Example: John 3) If you have downloaded multiple files, be sure to repeat steps 1-3 for each.
  3. A new window will pop up asking you to Save your new file. Select the option to Save the file.
  4. If you are given the option to Save your file in a folder of your selection, be sure to choose a folder where you will be able to find your file after it completes its download; select Save and let the file download. Then skip to Step 8. If you are not asked to select a file or location to save your file, move on to step 5.
  5. Once the file has finished downloading you can find it by using your Search functionality. Select Start>Search>Files and folders>Enter “Downloads”
  6. In the Downloads folder you should find your zipped file of your GoBible Downloaded file.
  7. The file is zipped or compressed once you download it from the GoBible website because as our files are very large and contain a lot of files, it makes it easier and faster for you to download the file compressed as one large file, or zipped, rather then downloading many individual MP3s. However, once the file is saved and downloaded, you can unzip the file very easily to access the individual MP3s.
  8. Unzip the file in the folder it was saved in using Winzip, which you can download for free, and enjoy!

How do I access my GoBible downloads, once my purchase is completed?

You must first be logged into your account , using your email address and password. You can then click on the order number, or the “My Account” button (top left), to access your Order Dashboard. Select the “View Order” button, next to your download, or click on the “My Downloadable Products” option, to access your files. Click on the underlined link of the file you wish to download, and the process will begin automatically.

How do I get the files I just downloaded into iTunes?

AFTER DOWNLOADING:

  1. If you downloaded a zipped file (extension .zip), be sure to unzip the files before trying to add them to iTunes.
  2. Start iTunes
  3. Click "File" > "Add Folder to Library" and select the folder that contains the downloaded MP3 files.
  4. The files should now be available in iTunes.

How do I get my mp3s onto my iPod?

 

  1. In order to load your new MP3 files to your iPod, first import the files into iTunes using the steps noted in the FAQ entry: “How do I get my mp3s onto my iTunes?". Once that's done, simply connect your iPod to your computer, and iTunes should automatically begin transferring the new files ("syncing") to your iPod.
  2. If the sync process does not automatically begin, you may manually start that process by selecting the following program menu options in iTunes: File -> Sync iPod

How do I get the files I just downloaded into Windows Media Player?

 

  1. First, download your files from the "My Account" section of our website. Your orders will be listed by date and you will need to click the "View" button to get to your individual downloads
  2. Unzip the ZIP files using WinZip or a similar archival program. You can download WinZip by searching Google for "winzip download."
  3. In Windows Media Player, go to "Library"" > "Add to Library" and browse to the folder you just unzipped.
  4. Select the folder that contains your audio and click "OK."
  5. Your files should now be available in Windows Media Player.

My downloaded files won't unzip. It keeps saying "Invalid Archive" when I double-click on it. What's wrong?

Our downloadable files are extremely large and, depending upon your internet connection, can get interrupted while downloading. If this happens to you, simply attempt to download the file(s) again and if you still experience issues, please contact us at support@gobibledownloads.com.

My files appear out of order in my media player. How do I play them in the correct order?

Sometimes your MP3 audio will show up in your media player out of order. When this happens, you will need to import your files into iTunes and create a playlist for your files. To do that, follow these instructions:

 

  1. Start iTunes
  2. Click "File" > "Add Folder to Library" and select the folder that contains the downloaded MP3 files.
  3. Go to "File" > "New Playlist" and, when prompted, enter a new name for your playlist.
  4. In the "music" tab, find the files you just imported into iTunes.
  5. Highlight all the files you want to be in order and drag them to the new playlist.
  6. When you sync with iTunes, make sure to include the new playlist on your portable music player.
  7. To save your playlist for use with another music program, simply right-click on the playlist and click "Export..."
  8. Make sure to include the new playlist with your files whenever you add files to a portable audio device in the future and play the playlist when you want to hear the files in the correct order.

Why do I have to purchase another copy if my download has expired?

We feel that 90 days is enough time download your product. We recommend that you make a backup of any purchased MP3 download – so that you will always be able to recover your product in the future.

How do i download the free monthly audio book?

In order to download any audio book, you must first set up a user account with the website. This account will provide you access to this download, as well as all of your other downloads if you need to go back and retrieve them at a later date. To create your user account, please click here and fill out the required information. Once you have created your account you may proceed with your download of this month's free audio book.
