The Similarities and Differences Between the GoBible® Voyager™, Original GoBible® and the GoBible® Traveler™
The Similarities
All three units, the GoBible® Voyager™, Original GoBible® and the GoBible® Traveler™ contain the entire audio version of the Bible preloaded on the devices. That includes the entire Old and New Testaments, over 70 Hours of audio on each! All three units have GoBible's Bible-in-a-Year plan and each supports 36 bookmarks. All units come with one AAA battery and earbuds in the packaging.
The Differences
- The GoBible® Voyager™ has the ability for the user to download 3 gigabytes (GB's) of additional content on the device. The Voyager can hold approximately 750 songs or over 100 hours of audio books. It is the only GoBible product that is not a dedicated device.
- Both the GoBible® Voyager™ and the Original GoBible's menu structure are indexed to all 31,101 verses in the Bible so the user can begin play, bookmark or repeat any verse in the Bible. The Traveler is indexed to all 1,189 chapters in the Bible.
- The GoBible® Voyager™ and Original GoBible® have a Story Index of over 225 stories, a Topic Index and a Holiday/Events Index.
- The GoBible® Voyager™ and the Original GoBible® have an LCD screen that displays 6 lines of text while the LCD readout on the GoBible® Traveler™ displays 2 lines of text.
- The GoBible Voyager is powered by a AAA li-ion rechargeable battery which, along with the cords necessary to charge the battery, is included in the packaging. The Original and Traveler are powered by a regular AAA battery.
- The Voyager and Original units have a voice menu built in the devices to allow users with sight impairments to use those units.
- The Voyager NIV and KJV have the Bible text on the screen while the audio is playing (Word of Promise Voyager does not).
